Rostelecom has expanded its educational content on thanks to Knowledge Stream

Rostelecom has expanded its educational content on the media portal thanks to Digital October’s Knowledge Stream project. Now, all users of the media portal are able to see the best lectures of the Knowledge Stream noncommercial educational project completely free of charge.

The format of the events is that of telebridge lectures by professors of the world’s leading universities; the creators of successful projects, business schools, and venture funds; authors of scientific and economic theories and bestselling books. The basic goal is to provide a Russian audience with free access to the latest technological innovations and global scientific developments.

The lectures are dedicated to very different subjects: from biotechnology and physics to digital art. Knowledge Stream was thought up as an interactive educational venue targeting students, people who are studying, researchers, and anyone interested in the project. All lectures are given in English with simultaneous interpretation into Russian.

In the words of the director of the Media Products project, Andrei Kholodny, "we pay a lot of attention to the educational content on" He has stated that "we consider our cooperation with Digital October, which gives our audience the possibility to obtain genuinely high-quality content containing first-hand information about the latest developments and scientific achievements all over the world, to be a great success."

Dmitry Repin, CEO of the Digital October center, remarked on the partnership that "Knowledge Stream has from the beginning been conceived as a project that makes important knowledge and content generally accessible. In a year, we have held more than 40 lectures, with Knowledge Stream’s audience exceeding 130 thousand people. The partnership with Rostelecom has not only helped to realize the project itself, but also allows it to develop via access to the large audience of a popular media portal."
