The Big Picture: “Development 2013: A Growing Point”
On June 19th, the Digital October Center hosted the second conference in The Big Picture cycle, a partner project with the Kommersant publishing house. This series brings together the leaders of a particular field in order to discuss the key changes, prospects, and recent achievements of that industry.
The topic of the first forum, which took place in April, was the telecommunications market. The second forum focused on the following issues:
- the development of the Moscow metropolitan area;
- the redevelopment of industrial zones;
- financing real estate construction;
- the development of high-rise construction and road and transport infrastructure;
- the privatization of architectural monuments.
This event also featured live link-ups with Western experts, as well as a press briefing.
High-ranking officials, top executives of development and construction organizations, investors, architects, and journalists gathered to discuss these topics.
Invited speakers included: Marat Khusnullin (Moscow’s Deputy Mayor for Urban Development and Construction), Vladimir Zhidkin (Head of the Moscow Department of New Territories), Konstantin Timofeev (Head of Moskomstroyinvest), Victor Sidnev (Technospark, Troitsk), Olga Arkhangelskaya (Ernst & Young), Roman Shemendyuk (Capital Mutual Investment Fund), and others.
