On June 27th we had closed the 2011–2012 season with the conference on tech entrepreneurship The Art of Going Global. We had invited startup founders, VCs and entrepreneurs to join our discussion on how to turn global ambitions into a global business.

We started the conference with Chain Reaction — a special interactive multimedia crash test event designed to give useful feedback to startup founders. Chain Reaction experts and viewers analyzed 3–4 startups that are this year's finalists of the Global Track of Business of Innovation Technologies competition. They used the feedback the next day, during the competition finale that is taking place also at the Digital October Center.

After a short break we resumed the conference with several panel discussions on various aspects of going global: from finding talent to marketing your product globally, from raising investments to building relationships with partners. We'll have quite a few speakers who are startup founders, VCs or experts in PR & Marketing and HR.

PwC presented their MoneyTree™ research dedicated to analyzing the venture market in the Russian IT sector in 2011.

We are also happy to told about our guests from the Silicon Valley, including Josh Breinlinger (Sigma Partners), Max Niederhofer (Accel Partners) and Xavier Damman (founder of Storify, via telepresence).
