Teradata Forum 2012
On November 29, a conference of the Teradata corporation —Teradata Forum 2012 — took place at the Digital October center. It was the Russia’s only large event dedicated to innovations and trends on the data-storage market, best practices in the area of managing corporate information, and cutting-edge analytical tools.
This year, Teradata Forum cast a light on such subjects as
- management and monetization of a client base;
- promoted analysis;
- experiments with Big Data;
- client loyalty and retention programs;
- prognosticated profitability of clients and client analysis;
- the creation of unified data storage.
Examples were also examined of successful projects using CRM client analysis: client research, behavior management, support of loyalty programs, and projects monitoring sales and systems of employee motivation and integrated marketing administration.
The speakers at Teradata Forum 2012 — representatives of large Russian and foreign companies that uses Teradata solutions — talked about successfully implemented projects in the area of increasing the effectiveness of business by using data. The invited speakers of the conference included representatives of the bank VTB24, Citibank, Megafon, METRO Cash&Carry, the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, COOP Denmark, eBay, DHL Express, and Vodafone, among others.
The keynote speaker at the conference was Stephen Brobst, technical director of the corporation Teradata and generally recognized guru in the area of data storage and business analysis.
