A Strategy for a Customer-Friendly Approach in the Restaurant Business

On Fenruary 2 an open lecture by the general director of the restaurant Shinok, Olga Semanova, was held at Digital October. The theme was "A Strategy for A Customer-Friendly Approach in the Restaurant Business."

Lecture attendees learned about the basic principles of a customer-friendly approach in the restaurant business. Olga Semanova talked about the history of approaches to working with a customer, material and psychological service, "the coefficient of guest satisfaction," and means of resolving conflict situations. The lecturer also answered questions from the audience.

Olga Semanova has been working in the restaurant business since 1996. She started her career in the Group of Capital Restaurants as a maitre d'hôtel and then headed the Feshn Khaus complex (the restaurants Sem Pyanits, Chernaya Koshka, and Uchkuduk and the club Feshnkhaus). Later, she became general director of the restaurant Khodzha Nasreddin v Khive. From 2001 to 2005, she worked as deputy director of Kafe Pushkin. From 2005 to 2012, she was chief deputy of the general director of the restaurant Turandot, which is part of the company Restorannyj Dom Andreya Dellosa. She took part in the launch of Brasserie Pushkin in New York. At the present time, she is general director of the Ukrainian restaurant Shinok.
