Stand-up: Marcel Lucont and Michael Legge

November 17, 2012, 20:00 concert

Renowned comedians Marcel Lucont and Michael Legge gave a stand-up performance in the Digital October Center conference room on November 17.

The devilishly attractive, crushingly arrogant walking stereotype Marcel Lucont will appear as his stage persona, French actor Alexis Dubus. The Misanthrope, lover and playboy Marcel Lucont has written several books that he himself has praised highly, including “What We French Think Of You British ... And Where You Are Going Wrong,” and has received numerous awards from himself. The Guardian describes him as “original and excellent,” and Time Out told its readers “his sardonic sense of humor will shock you.”

Michael Legge is a young stand-up comedian, writer, actor, presenter and improviser, as well as a podcaster for BBC Radio and Sky Rory Radio. Michael makes a regular appearance at the Edinburgh festival with his own show and also teams up with Robin Ince. His latest sellout show “What a shame!” has just finished in Scotland.
