PwC Center for Technology and Innovation at Digital October hosts a series of interactive workshops covering key aspects of creating a successful technology company. Rules of the Game: Crash-Course for Innovative Start-up.

In this course we share our insights on how to prepare for pitching your business plan to potential investors and how your financial model should look like, how to establish an optimal legal and tax structure when setting up your company, how to protect your intellectual property rights and how to prepare a company for entering international markets.

The seminar called "Intellectual property: Converting your business idea into your intellectual property." took place on December 14, from 18:30 until 21:00 at Digital October Center.

Petr Babarykin, lawyer at PwC Center for Technology and Innovation, Ph.D. in civil law, shared his experience and knowledge about intellectual property protection and spoke about the types of the intellectual property protected in Russian and their main differences. Petr also advised on how to give a name to your company, how to protect your business idea, what and how can be protected in your product. We also invited representatives of the venture capital and entrepreneur community to participate in our discussion.
