DLP Russia: Practices in the Defense of Valuable Business Information
On September 20th, the Digital October Center will play host to DLP Russia, the sixth annual international conference dedicated to the issues of protecting confidential data, investigating information traffic incidents, and protecting businesses against interior threats.
The schedule of event will include a plenary session and a roundtable, as well as two sections consisting of 30 themed presentations, which will include:
- “The Evolution of the IT Industry in Russia,” a lecture from Mark Shmulevich, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media,
- a talk from Natalya Kasperskaya, CEO of Infowatch, about the evolution of the market and proactively defending a business from interior threats,
- and “Defense Practices for Business Information in Major Holdings,” a presentation by Aleksey Volkov (“Severstal”).
Discussions will also focus on the practical side of law enforcement in the world of workforce activity surveillance, new tools and methods for protecting valuable business information, case studies on data breaches, and ways of identifying threats from an early stage.
At the same time, the conference will feature a tech zone where vendors and integrators will demonstrate their latest wares.
