Digital Silicon-free conference was held оn 27th April at Digital October and was devoted to digital communications efficiency theme and offered an opportunity to learn and engage with the leaders of the digital marketing community from Russia and Europe.

Lars Silberbauer (LEGO Group, Denmark), Robin Grant (We Are Social, Great Britain) and Marcin Winkler (P4, Poland) shared their background in the field of assessing digital initiatives and discussed current world trends in forming KPI for digital communications. Anton Nosik moderated the event.

The conference also provided an opportunity to acquaint with the specialists from Danone-Unimilk, Grant’s, William Grant & Sons Distillers, VTB 24, Vimpelkom, Universal Music and other brands.

Lars Silberbauer, Global Social Media Head at the LEGO Group, is responsible for driving the strategic development and implementation of all major social media initiatives for the LEGO brand. The previous Lars’s background comes from the previous position at the Danish Broadcast Corporation in Copengagen, where Lars has been working as Creative Project Manager for the light interactive projections along with the French architect Jean Nouvel.

The headliner of Social Media round-table was Robin Grant, global managing director of We Are Social in London. He spoke about quantitative and quality success metrics used in his agency and disclose the secrets of budget distribution in SMM campaigns.

Robin is consistently producing effective and award winning work for the world’s biggest brands during over last 15 years, picking up D&AD, Clio, One Show and many other awards. We Are Social is a new kind of agency that combines an innate understanding of social media with digital, PR and marketing skills. The agency offices are open in New York, London, Paris, Milan, Munich, Singapore, Sydney & São Paulo.

Marcin Winkler is a Head of Internet Marketing in leading Poland telecom company P4 (Play). Marcin performed in Strategy session and spoke about Customer Lifetime Value concept and MROI for CPC/search campaigns. Before working in P4, Marcin has been a Managing Director at Optimum Media, being responsible for ATL and BTL communications of leading touristic brands.
