Cloud OS Summit

On November 27 the Digital October Center hosted Microsoft as they ran a major event devoted to the technologies for transforming server infrastructure into a flexible and scalable environment with the help of Cloud OS.

The company’s experts and partners discussed technologies for combining public SaaS with personal data centers and the opportunities presented by Azure and Windows Server, and unveil new versions of System Center 2012 R2, SQL Server, and Visual Studio.

The event program included more than 20 lectures that were held within themed sections:

  • The Modern Data Center: scenarios for building quotients and expanding into public clouds, automation, monitoring, and app management
  • Personal Enterprise Devices: getting mobile devices involved in work and the safety issues that entails
  • The Cloud Platform for App Development: scenarios for using Azure and Visual Studio
  • Cloud Infrastructure as a Service: development, testing, analysis, and working with big data in the cloud
