April 6-7: Cisco Datacenters Conf

On April 6-7 Digital October hosted the Cisco Datacenters Conference. The approach “from generals to particulars” has become the essential principle of the event. During the first section of the conference, Cisco presented their products – software and networking hardware– specifically designed for data processing centers. The second section was devoted to the most common problems related to building modern DPCs; engineers from the company spoke of some existing approaches. Cisco representatives accentuated Nexus high-performance switches and computational platform called Unified Computing System (UCS). The guests were given samples of how these products are used in Russian and foreign DPCs.

One of the global strategic goals for Cisco in Russia is to become accredited partner of the state.
