YEES event 2011

On June 9 and 10, the Digital October Center hosted the first part of the YEES event 2011, a forum on modern entrepreneurship and innovative technology.


YEES stands for Your Education Enables Success. The forum included presentations on technological and creative entrepreneurship, financing innovation, and new media development, as well as artificial intelligence and future design. The speakers included Vladimir Dolgov, CEO of Google Russia; actor and director Egor Konchalovsky; Alexei Komissarov, the head of Moscow’s Department of Support and Development of Small and Medium Enterprises; Gregory Bubnov, president of the Moscow Business School; Ilya Krasilshchik, editor-in-chief of Afisha magazine; journalist Masha Gessen; Anatoly Wasserman, a frequent winner of TV quiz shows; and many others.

The first part of the event was held June 9-10 in Moscow, and the second part was held June 14 at the Plug and Play Tech Center in San Francisco.
