Hello Tomorrow is an international competition for motivated teams and individuals working in the fields of biotechnology, IT, robotics, energy conservation, and big data.

This contest is open to the authors of projects that are still in the planning or preliminary prototype phases, as well as to the founders of currently operating companies: as long as those projects were launched no more than two years ago and have raised no more than €200,000 since the moment of their founding.

On January 29th, a panel of judges made up of representatives from corporations, venture capitalists, and experienced European entrepreneurs (including Eben Upton, founder and technical director of the Raspberry PI Foundation) will begin the process of reviewing online applications and selecting 25 semifinalists from 30 countries around the world. These semifinalists will participate in 12 interactive master classes and receive access to the combined expertise of the competition’s hundreds of mentors.

On April 18th, the top projects will gather in Paris to receive a share of the competition’s prize pool. A panel of judges comprising 50 specialists in various spheres will choose an overall winner, who will receive €100,000. The remaining projects (the best representative of each category) will receive €15,000 each. We would like to note that the finalists will also receive free airfare to and lodging in the capital of France.

On January 24th, the Digital October Center will host a seminar

for those who are in the process of preparing their applications (or who have already submitted, but would like to supplement their applications) to Hello Tomorrow.

At this event, you will receive advice from Dmitry Kabanov (StartupDigest, Launch48 Moscow), an official representative of the Russian leg of the competition, and several other experts, hear answers to your questions, and have an opportunity to connect with the specialists your project needs.

Participation is free. All you have to do is register by sending your information to Dmitry Kabanov at dmitry.kabanov@startupdigestmail.com.

  • If you are coming along with a team, please indicate the full names and specializations of each participant. You can also indicate any other team members that your project might require.
  • If you are coming as an independent participant, please send your full name and specialization. If you don’t have a project idea of your own, we can help you find a team to join onsite.
